I try to apply this mind set to everything I do in life because it not only motivates, but its also a very comforting viewpoint when prioritizing or any decision making situations. There are so many different levels, and seriousness you can be at running, and none of them make you any less of a runner! Whether your training for a race or you just run as something to clear your min; whatever you wanna run for, run for it! This quote reminds me of how in control I am of my own success in running, and life. However much effort I chose to put into something, or to not put in, will directly effect my desired goal.
